Episode 38: Hoosier Daddy?

Andrew and Kirstin look at this week's coaches poll (a new #1!...and a new #18!) and look further into some strange voting at the top. They recap the week that was and are then joined by two-time Olympian and former Indiana Hoosier and current Indiana Hoosier head coach Kayla Bashore to discuss the wild ride the Hoosiers are on this year and where their focus is headed to the final weeks of the season. After Kayla, they breakdown the Old Oaken Bucket which is awarded to the annual winner of the Indiana - Purdue football game, put teams on this week's chutes and ladders, and pick out some Games to Watch (tm).

Episode 37: It Just Means More

Andrew and Kirstin review last week in the world of Division I Field Hockey including your 18th ranked California Golden Bears, and underwhelming weekend for Delaware, spicy Indiana, and Monmouth's up-and-down weekend. The Division III corner veers off into Division II discussion for the first time, and they look towards this weekend with Games to Watch (tm).

Episode 36: Up is Down, Down is Up

Andrew and Kirstin review a few upsets from last weekend that left us with just two remaining unbeatens in the country, and discuss a travesty of justice in this week's NFHCA Coaches Poll.  After sorting through the carnage, they're joined by Northwestern sophomore and Team USA's Olivia Bent-Cole.
With Olivia they discuss what drew her to Northwestern, the competitive nature of this Wildcats team, her experience at the Junior World Cup last year, and who wins in a battle between deep dish pizza and a Philly Cheesesteak.

Episode 35: It's Gonna be a Real Dogfight

Andrew and Kirstin review the past week of games across the country, and discuss the scourge on the world that video review has become.  They preview this week's big matchups in Games to Watch (tm) and touch on a sad note from the Alaskan wilderness while Kirstin gives Andrew a lesson on how bears keep themselves...stopped up during hibernation. 

Episode 34: Hoos Still Undefeated?

Andrew and Kirstin look back at last week's action including the Cheesesteak Challenge, the ascending St. Joe's Hawks and the newest member of the NFHCA Top 20 -- Monmouth. 
They are then joined by the head coach of the #3 Virginia Cavaliers Ole Keusgen, hoo have begun the season 7-0 after sweeping last weekend's ACC contests at home against both Cal and Stanford.  After speaking with Ole, they close out the show looking at this weekend's Games to Watch (tm) and discussing whether or not Andrew would have done well living on The Lawn at UVA.  Spoiler alert:  No.

Episode 33: The Conference Play Episode

Andrew and Kirstin look back at last weekend's action and they're joined by St. Joe's head coach and proud Mainer Hannah Prince.
 
They also discuss a wild game between Massachusetts and UMass Lowell, the curious travel of one of Harvard's exhibition opponents from this year and select their Games to Watch for the opening week of conference play this weekend.

Episode 32: The Ice Hockey Crossover Episode

Andrew and Kirstin look back at Week 2 of the season and the new NFHCA Top 20 poll before looking ahead to this weekend's Games to Watch (tm).
They're then joined by head coach of The Ohio State University Buckeyes Jarred Martin and they discuss their accommodations last weekend visiting Colgate and Syracuse, the Buckeyes hot start, and two-sport star Makenna Webster who, in addition to leading the field hockey team in scoring so far this year, scored 12 goals last year helping OSU's women's ice hockey team win the national championship.

Episode 31: We are So Back

Week One of the 2024 season has arrived, and with i, Andrew and Kirstin look back at the week that was to begin the 2024 season.  They look ahead to this weekend's Games to Watch, play a round of Chutes and Ladders, and Kirstin discusses teams and schools that are completely real and not at all made up in the Division III corner. 

The Preseason Preview Spectacular

Andrew and Kirstin look at the pre-season coaches poll and the predictions for each conference. The preview this weekend's first games of the season and make their picks for national champion and national player of the year.  Kirstin gives her Games to Watch (tm) for this weekend and gives some love to D3 in the D3 Corner.

Episode 29: Orange is the New Gold

Andrew and Kirstin discuss the Netherlands completing the Olympic Field Hockey Double as they win both the men's and women's tournaments in shootouts.
They look back at their Olympic experience both from Paris and from home, and look ahead to the start of the NCAA season at the end of this month.
